Data Quality

The Data Quality tab is where Logistified reports gaps in your catalog data that make forecasts and reorder suggestions less reliable. It shows a single health score and four counters, each with a link to the exact variants behind the number.

The health score

The score in the tab’s header starts at 100 and goes down as issues accumulate. Each issue subtracts a weighted amount: Out of Stock counts 1.5, Missing Costs 1.0, Missing SKUs 0.5, and Inactive Items 0.5. The score never goes below 0 and is labelled by range: Excellent (90+), Good (75–89), Needs Attention (50–74), Poor (below 50). Hover the info icon next to the score to see this breakdown in-app.

Because the score counts issues rather than measuring what share of your inventory is affected, large catalogs reach low scores faster than small ones. Treat it as a quick gut check, not a hard threshold.

The same score also appears as a compact row on the KPIs tab, with a View Data Quality button that brings you here.

The four counters

Missing SKUs — variants without a SKU set in Shopify. Without a SKU, variants are hard to match in CSV imports and supplier mappings.
Missing Costs — variants without a unit cost (or with a cost of zero). Reorder math and profit metrics need a cost.
Out of Stock — variants whose total on-hand quantity is at or below zero. The heaviest-weighted issue, and the only one whose count turns red when non-zero — the other three turn amber.
Inactive Items — variants with no sales in the last 6 months. A high number isn’t necessarily a problem — long-tail catalogs have many slow movers — but inactive variants still count against the score.

Fixing an issue

When a counter is greater than zero, a View link appears on its card. It opens a Forecast view pre-filtered to exactly those variants, so you can work through them one by one. For very large issue lists the view covers the first 500 affected variants.

Data freshness

Unlike the KPIs, Timelines, and Seasonal Analysis tabs — which read from a nightly snapshot — the Data Quality counters are computed live every time you open the tab, so they always reflect your current catalog. The Live data caption in the header reminds you of this.

If the numbers can’t be loaded, the tab shows “Data quality is unavailable” — try again after data processing completes.
