Configure reorder parameters
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- At least one real supplier configured (not just Default supplier).
- Lead time, MOQ, pack size per supplier–variant link. Suppliers → Supplier detail → Variants tab → edit inline. Or bulk-import via CSV.
- Holding cost per variant. Settings → Products → variant editor. Required for EOQ to compute.
- Ordering cost per supplier. Suppliers → Supplier detail → Terms. Required for EOQ to compute.
- Safety stock. Forecast settings panel. Default is Auto (95% service level). Override per view if needed.
- Force majeure. Off by default. Turn on for extra cushion regardless of historical volatility.
- Forecast model for each variant. Auto is fine for most.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Setting up reorder math for variant X:
- Lead time: 30 days (supplier–variant link).
- MOQ: 50.
- Pack size: 10.
- Holding cost: €5/year per unit.
- Ordering cost: €100 per PO.
- Safety stock: Auto.
- Forecast model: Auto.
Logistified will compute reorder point, reorder date, and reorder quantity — and apply MOQ rounding to make sure you order at least 50 in multiples of 10.
Common failure modes

| Reorder Date is always “today” | Lead time set to a huge value, or safety stock is too thick. | Verify both. |
