Connect suppliers to variants

  • At least one real supplier created (Suppliers → New supplier).

Three paths — pick one.

Path A: Variant-by-variant from the supplier

Section titled “Path A: Variant-by-variant from the supplier”
  1. Suppliers → open the supplier you buy from.
  2. Variants tab → click Add Variants.
  3. The Shopify resource picker opens. Select one or more variants and confirm.
  4. In the configuration dialog, set MOQ, pack size, cost, and supplier SKU per variant (or use the global lead-time field). Confirm.
  5. If you want this supplier to drive the reorder math, set it as primary from the same row (Primary/Secondary button).
Section titled “Path B: Bulk via vendor or collection connections (recommended for new shops)”
  1. Suppliers → open the supplier you want to seed.
  2. Header → Manage ConnectionsVendor Connections (or Collection Connections).
  3. Pick one or many Shopify vendor names (or collections) that should belong to this supplier and confirm.
  4. Click Refresh to pull in every variant attached to those vendors / collections — Logistified creates supplier–variant links in bulk and marks each new link primary if the variant doesn’t already have one.
  1. Suppliers → Import → upload CSV.
  2. Map columns to fields.
  3. Preview, then import.

My shop’s Shopify vendor Acme maps cleanly to a real supplier “Acme Inc.” I open the Acme Inc supplier, click Manage Connections → Vendor Connections, attach the vendor name Acme, and click Refresh. Logistified pulls every Acme variant and creates the supplier–variant links — marking each link primary if the variant didn’t already have a primary supplier.
