What it does

Attaches a recipient view filterRecipient view filterA saved Forecast view attached to a notification or report recipient. The recipient only receives variants matching their view — one report, many recipients, each gets their slice. Read more → to one notification recipient. When the notification fires, the recipient only sees variants from their view.

Use case

You manage three buyers, each responsible for a different category. One stock-out rule, three recipients, three different view filters — each buyer sees only their category.

Deleted view degrades silently

If you delete the view a recipient is tied to, they silently start receiving unfiltered alerts. Check the recipient list periodically.

Note

This is the recommended way to scale notifications to a multi-buyer team.
