Vendor & collection groups
If your Shopify vendor list (or collection list) maps cleanly to your real suppliers, you can have Logistified auto-create the supplier–variant links for you. Two flavours: vendor groupsVendor groupA rule that auto-creates a supplier from a Shopify vendor name. Useful when your Shopify vendors already map cleanly to real suppliers. They’re managed per supplier, not in Settings — each real supplier you’ve created can be wired up to one or many Shopify vendors and to one or many Shopify collections at the same time.

Where it lives
Section titled “Where it lives”Open the supplier you want to seed. In the header, click Manage Connections:
- Vendor Connections opens a dialog where you pick one or many Shopify vendor names to attach to this supplier and click Refresh to pull in all matching variants.
- Collection Connections does the same for Shopify collections.
There is no “Vendor groups” page under Settings — everything happens from the supplier itself.
Seeding a supplier from vendors
Section titled “Seeding a supplier from vendors”For each Shopify vendor name you’ve attached to the supplier, Logistified:
- Dedupes vendor names case-insensitively (so “Acme” and “ACME” are treated as the same vendor — match this to your Shopify vendor list first).
- Fetches every variant whose product belongs to that vendor.
- Creates supplier–variant links in bulk, using the default lead time / MOQ / pack size.
- Marks each new link as primary if the variant doesn’t already have a primary supplier.
Seeding a supplier from collections
Section titled “Seeding a supplier from collections”Same idea, but the source is a Shopify collection. Useful when “all products in the Imported Wines collection come from supplier Y.”
Mixing vendors and collections on one supplier
Section titled “Mixing vendors and collections on one supplier”One supplier can carry both kinds of connections, and as many of each as you need. For example, a supplier “Acme Inc” might be connected to:
- Vendor names:
Acme,Acme US,Acme EU - Collections:
Acme house brand,Acme exclusives
When you click Refresh, Logistified walks all vendor and collection connections on that supplier and merges the resulting variant set into supplier–variant links — without duplicating links that already exist.
What gets imported (and what doesn’t)
Section titled “What gets imported (and what doesn’t)”The refresh respects your Data exclusion settings. Products that are archived, drafted, or matched by your exclusion rules (tag, type, vendor, etc.) are filtered out — their variants are not added to the supplier.
If you want excluded products to be sourced from a supplier anyway, loosen the exclusion rule first, then refresh.
Manual trigger
Section titled “Manual trigger”There’s no scheduled auto-refresh. You hit Refresh when your Shopify vendors or collections change. The operation is idempotent — running it twice doesn’t duplicate links.
