The Preview tab
Section titled “The Preview tab”Every report editor has a Preview tab. It renders the email body using sample data so you can validate the layout — which sections are included, how the headings read, whether the table columns look right — before activating.
What Preview does NOT do
Section titled “What Preview does NOT do”- It does not pull your live shop data. The numbers, variants, and PO IDs shown are placeholder samples.
- It does not send a test email to anyone.
- It does not write to any run history.
Use Preview to check the email’s structure. For real content, you’ll need to wait for the first real send.
No “Send test now” button
Section titled “No “Send test now” button”There’s no dedicated test-send. To receive a real copy of the actual rendered email:
- Set the cadence to Daily.
- Set the time to a few minutes from now.
- Add yourself as the only recipient.
- Toggle Enable this report on, save, wait for the email.
- Reset cadence + recipients afterwards.
Awkward but works.
Run history
Section titled “Run history”There’s no UI for viewing past runs. If you want an audit trail, save copies of the emails you receive.
