Print product labels
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A barcode scanner or the SKUs/barcodes you want to print, handy.
- Optionally, a saved label template (Settings → Label printing → Advanced Designer (Beta)) if you don’t want the default look.
- Inventory Management → Printing Studio.
- For a one-off print, click Quick create. For something you’ll want to find again later, click New print run.
- Add items — scan or type barcodes/SKUs, pick from Shopify, or upload a CSV/XLSX file. A saved print run can also add Assemblified Virtual Materials.
- Set copies per item — edit each row, or select rows and apply one number to all of them.
- Pick a template and output format.
- Click Print (Quick create) or Generate labels (a print run). The PDF opens ready to print.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Restocking a shelf with 12 SKUs, 5 labels each. Scan each barcode once — each scan adds one copy — then leave all 12 rows selected, type 5 into Set selected copies, and click Apply. Keep the shop’s default template and generate: the PDF opens ready to print.
Common failure modes

| A field on the label is blank | Your template references a purchase-order field (like supplier) that a scanned item can’t fill. | Use the field mapping panel to leave it blank, set a fixed value, or map it to a product/variant field instead. |
| The Generate button is blocked | The run adds up to more than 20,000 labels — the PDF cap. | Reduce copies, split the run, or switch the output format to CSV/XLSX. |
| No preview shown | You picked CSV or XLSX as the output format. | Preview only renders for PDF runs. |
