What a recipient is
Section titled “What a recipient is”A recipientRecipientA person who gets a notification or a report by email. Can be filtered to only receive items matching a specific saved view. Read more → is a person who can be subscribed to receive emails. Each recipient has three fields, all required:
- First name
- Last name
That’s the whole record. There is no per-recipient view filter, no active/inactive toggle, and no per-recipient delivery setting. To control who gets which emails you subscribe them to the rule (see below) or remove them.
Two places to manage them
Section titled “Two places to manage them”| Where | What you do there |
|---|---|
Notifications → Recipients (/app/notifications/recipients) | Add or remove people from the shared address book. The same list powers Reports — recipients added here are available to both features. |
| Notifications rule → Recipients tab | Tick the boxes next to the people who should receive this rule’s emails. Untick to unsubscribe them from this rule (without deleting them). |
Adding someone in the global list doesn’t subscribe them to anything. Subscription happens per-rule via the checkbox list.
Adding a recipient
Section titled “Adding a recipient”On the Recipients page, click Add Recipient and fill in First Name, Last Name, and Email. All three fields are required. The recipient appears in the global list immediately and is available for any rule’s Recipients tab.
There is no CSV/XLSX import or bulk-paste for notification recipients — add them one at a time.
Removing recipients
Section titled “Removing recipients”- From a single rule: open the rule’s Recipients tab and untick the box.
- From the address book entirely: on the Recipients page, use the row action menu to delete one recipient, or select multiple rows and use the bulk-delete option. Deleting a recipient unsubscribes them from every rule that referenced them.
Previewing what they’ll receive
Section titled “Previewing what they’ll receive”The rule editor has a Preview tab that renders the email body for the current trigger configuration. Use it to check the wording and layout before turning the rule on for real recipients.
Unsubscribing
Section titled “Unsubscribing”The emails don’t carry an unsubscribe link. To stop sending to someone, either untick them on the rule’s Recipients tab or delete them from the global Recipients list.
Bounced emails
Section titled “Bounced emails”Logistified doesn’t auto-deactivate bounced addresses. Watch your email provider’s bounce report and remove problematic addresses manually.
