Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Selecting 12 kitchen-category variants whose reorder dates land in the next two weeks. They all belong with the same supplier. The dialog starts with the quantities from Actual Reorder Quantity. I create the PO, confirm the supplier on the Draft, review the lines, then send.
Common failure modes
Section titled “Common failure modes”| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier email missing | Supplier doesn’t have an email address. | Add it on the supplier detail page. |
| PDF won’t generate | Heavy PO with many lines. | Split the PO. |
| Variants with different suppliers | The selection spans more than one supplier, or some variants still use the default supplier. | Use the split-by-supplier path, or fix the supplier–variant links first. |
