Two share methods
Section titled “Two share methods”- QR code — scan from the device camera. Best for tablets.
- URL — copy and paste, or send via DM / email. Best when devices can’t scan QRs.
What the link is
Section titled “What the link is”An opaque, encrypted, time-limited URL. The link itself contains no identifying information (no shop name, no action type). Cloud Platform decodes it server-side.
First-time access
Section titled “First-time access”If credentials are set:
- Device opens the link.
- Prompted for username + password.
- On correct entry, the session starts.
If no credentials are set:
- Device opens the link.
- Session starts immediately.
Returning to the device
Section titled “Returning to the device”The device caches the session in a cookie. Within the TTL, reopening the URL resumes without re-entering credentials.
Re-displaying the QR
Section titled “Re-displaying the QR”The View QR icon (a scan-line icon) on the session row re-displays the QR code and URL for the same session — same session, same expiry. The URL keeps working until the session expires or is revoked.
