Group rows by product

By default the Forecast table shows one row per variant. Open the display-mode menu (the Standard button in the toolbar) and choose Rows → Products, and the table instead shows one row per product, with its variants (sizes/colors) nested underneath — useful when you think in products first and only care about individual sizes when something needs attention.

Turning it on

The Rows choice lives in the display-mode menu: click the Standard button in the toolbar and pick one of the two options under Rows — Variants (today’s table, unchanged) or Products. The button shows a small Products or Variants badge so you can see at a glance which one the table is using. The choice is only offered in the standard display mode — the Supply and Sales Performance modes always show one row per variant. When a product is open, its variant rows are lightly shaded so you can see they belong to it.

Your choice is saved into the active view, the same way column visibility and filters are — see Views & filters.

What a product row shows

A product with several variants gets one row that looks exactly like a variant row — same height, same columns — but summarizes all of its variants:

Title and variant count — the product’s title, with a line underneath such as “8 variants · 3 recommended” (or “2/8 selected” once you’ve selected some).
Recommended quantity — the combined Actual Reorder Quantity across every variant of the product, with a smaller “X needed → Y recommended” line underneath when Logistified raised the total (for example, to meet a supplier’s product-wide minimum order quantity — see Product-level MOQ). A warning icon appears next to the total when part of the product is overstocked; hover it for the detail.
Minimum-order status per supplier — a short line per supplier the product’s variants use, such as “MOQ 60 met” or “short: 40 of 60.” Products split across more than one supplier show one line per supplier.
When to reorder — “Order now” or “Order in N days,” naming the size that triggers it.
Other columns — every other visible column shows a sensible summary where one exists: stock, incoming and sales quantities are summed (a “partial” note appears when a size has no value), dates such as Out of Stock show the earliest one, prices and unit costs show a range, and columns like Supplier or Vendor show the shared value or “Mixed.” Columns without a meaningful product-level summary (SKU, reorder point, safety stock, pack size, and similar) stay blank on the product row.

Variants that exist on the product but fall outside your current filters still show under “outside filter” in the count, so you always see the product’s full picture.

If a product’s variants aren’t all in the same clustering group, a small Mixed badge appears next to the title — the product still keeps the position of its first matching variant.

A product with only one variant is simply a normal variant row — there is no extra product row above it.

Expanding and collapsing sizes

Products start collapsed. Click the small arrow to the left of the product’s checkbox to open it; its variants appear indented underneath, ordered by recommended quantity so the sizes that need ordering come first. Click the arrow again to collapse.

Where a product’s reorder quantity was affected by a shared supplier minimum, each visible size shows a short reason next to its quantity — Due, Ahead of reorder date, Pulled forward, For product minimum, Covered, or Fixed quantity — so you can see at a glance why a particular size’s number moved. Pulled forward means the size wasn’t due yet and was ordered early to help fill the product minimum; the window that allows it is the Order soon-due variants too setting — see Order soon-due variants too.

Selecting variants from a product row

The checkbox on a product row selects every variant of the product; it shows a dash when only some of them are selected, and clicking it again clears the product’s selection.

To take just Logistified’s recommendation, use the Select recommended (N) link under the product’s recommended quantity: it adds the variants with a positive recommendation and keeps anything you selected by hand. Once they are all selected the link reads Recommendations selected; if you deselect one of them it offers Select remaining recommended (N).

The checkbox in the table header selects or clears every variant on the current page.

Whatever you select still ends up as a normal variant selection under the hood, so “Create PO from selected” and every other selection-based action work exactly as they do in Variants mode. Your selection is remembered as you move between pages and switch between Products and Variants view.

Paging by product

In Products mode, the page-size control switches to Products per page with a choice of 10 or 25 products, and pagination counts products instead of variants. The page picker and remembered page work the same as in Variants mode — see Paging. The summary line at the bottom of the table reads something like:

“Matching variants” is how many variants match your current filters; “variants shown” additionally counts the outside-filter sizes kept visible for context. Once you’ve selected variants, the line adds how many are selected and across how many products.

Products are ordered by the position of their first matching variant in the current sort; inside a product, sizes are listed by recommended quantity, highest first.

Products with a lot of sizes

A product with more than 60 sizes shows its row with the total variant count but can’t be expanded. Use View variants next to the count to open a page scoped to just that product’s variants, in the regular flat layout.
