Search, filters & saved views
The Inventory Commitments, Sales Plans, New Product Planning and Promotional Events lists share one toolbar: a search box (with AI search, once it’s enabled for your shop), filters, and named presets that save a filter set for everyone in your shop.
New Product Planning and Promotional Events come with the Enhanced plan. Inventory Commitments and Sales Plans need Elevate. See Plan requirements.

The four lists
Section titled “The four lists”Open Inventory Planning and click a tile to open its list.
| List | Columns |
|---|---|
| Inventory Commitments | Commitment, Location(s), Items, Total est. qty, Expected qty, Status, Target date, Updated |
| Sales Plans | Sales plan, Locations, Products, Target units, Status, Plan window, Updated |
| New Product Planning | Plan, Product, Launch, Status, Projected units, Forecast |
| Promotional Events | Event, Next occurrence, Repeats, Uplift, In forecasts |
Each list is described on its own page: Inventory Commitments, Sales Plans, New Product Planning and Promotional events.
The count under each list’s title reads, for example, “(34 total)”. While a search or filter is active it compares the matches with all plans or events of that list, for example “(3 of 34)”.
Sorting. On the three plan lists, click a sortable column header to sort by it: once for ascending, again for descending, a third time for the default order, newest first. The sortable columns are the plan column, Status (in lifecycle order, Draft first), the date column (Target date, Plan window or Launch) and Updated. The plan column’s arrow menu picks Name, Plan number or Created date. Plans without a value sort last, and the sort is kept when you change filters or presets. Quantity columns aren’t sortable.
On Inventory Commitments and Sales Plans, an amber Window elapsed tag next to the status means the plan’s dates are over but it is still open. Hover it for what to do. See Plan statuses & lifecycle.
Searching
Section titled “Searching”Type into the search box. The list updates shortly after you stop typing; the × in the box clears it.
| List | Placeholder | What it finds |
|---|---|---|
| Inventory Commitments, Sales Plans, New Product Planning | ”Search by name, plan #, SKU, or product…” | The plan’s name or plan number, and the SKUs and product titles in it |
| Promotional Events | ”Search events by name…” | The event’s name |
So searching MUG-01 on Sales Plans lists every sales plan with that SKU.
The search term, the filters and the sort are part of the page’s address, so a bookmarked or shared link opens the same list. Reloading the page in the Shopify admin keeps them too, including a filter where you ticked several values.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Click Filter and pick a field. For Status, Location and Category, tick the values and click Apply. For a date filter, pick a quick range, or click a start and an end day in the calendar: the filter applies as soon as the range is complete. Each active filter shows as a chip below the toolbar: click it to change it, or its × to remove it. Clear all removes every filter and the search term.
| Filter | Lists | What it matches |
|---|---|---|
| Status | The three plan lists | One or more of Draft, Confirmed, Locked, Completed and Cancelled. |
| Location | The three plan lists | Plans with something planned at one of the locations you pick. A sales plan is also found at every location it covers, even one where it has no products yet. |
| Created | The three plan lists | When the plan was created. |
| Target date | Inventory Commitments | The commitment’s target date. For a date range, its end. |
| Plan ends | Sales Plans | The last day of the plan window. |
| Launch date | New Product Planning | The plan’s default launch date. |
| Category | Promotional Events | Holiday, Promotion, Sales event or Other. |
The date filters only look at the plan’s own dates. Dates set on single items or locations aren’t filtered on.
Date ranges. Every date filter offers custom from and to dates, and quick ranges: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 365 days, This month and Last month. Target date, Plan ends and Launch date look ahead too, so they add Tomorrow, Next 7 days, Next 30 days and Next month:
- Next 7 days and Next 30 days include today.
- On these three filters, This month covers the whole month, including the days still to come. On Created it runs from the 1st to today.
AI search
Section titled “AI search”Instead of building filters by hand, describe the plans or events you want. AI search works on all four lists once it’s enabled for your shop.
-
Click into the search box and press Tab, or click the light-blue Tab: try AI search badge. On a phone or tablet, tap AI search.
-
Type your request in English and press Enter.
-
Check the preview. It shows the filters AI search understood, and nothing changes until you click Apply.
AI search works with each list’s own filters, the ones in the table above. Some requests it understands:
- Inventory Commitments: “confirmed commitments at the Berlin warehouse due next month”
- Sales Plans: “draft sales plans ending this month”
- New Product Planning: “confirmed launch plans launching in the next 30 days”
- Promotional Events: “holiday events”
Name the date you mean: “due” for a commitment’s target date, “ending” for a sales plan, “launching” for a launch plan. A plan number such as SP-00012, a SKU or a name goes into the search box instead of a filter.
The applied filters are ordinary chips you can edit or save as a preset. For how to word requests, what the preview shows and what AI search doesn’t handle yet (for example “not at a location” or two date periods at once), see Find orders by describing them (AI search).
Saved presets
Section titled “Saved presets”A preset saves the filters and the search term under a name. Presets are kept per list: a preset saved on Sales Plans doesn’t appear on Inventory Commitments.
- Save a preset. Once your filters differ from the selected preset, a save button appears next to the filter bar. On All, the unfiltered default, it reads Save filters. On a saved preset, Save overwrites that preset, and Save as… in the menu next to it creates a new one. Give it a name and click Save preset.
- Use a preset. Pick it in the preset menu at the start of the toolbar. All clears every filter and the search.
- Make it the default. Pick the preset, open the preset menu again and choose Set as default under Manage “preset”. Everyone in your shop then opens the list with those filters, unless they open a link that already carries filters. The default preset carries a star in the menu. Only one preset per list can be the default; Clear default removes it.
- Rename or delete. With the preset picked, use Rename… or Delete… in the preset menu. Deleting a preset keeps the current filters until you change them, and no plans or events are affected.
Page size
Section titled “Page size”Below each list, a footer shows which rows you’re looking at, for example “Showing 1 to 10 of 34 sales plans”, with buttons to move between pages. Pick how many rows a page shows: 10, 20 or 50. The plan lists start at 10 and Promotional Events at 20. On the three plan lists, Logistified remembers your choice.
